Abstract

The quality of madrasa education services is very important for the government and the
community. One of the problems facing madrasas in Indonesia today is the low quality of services at all
types and levels in educational institutions. Various efforts have been taken to improve the quality of
madrasa education services, including various trainings for educators and increasing the competence
of education personnel, procurement of reading materials, improvement of supporting facilities and
infrastructure. However, improving the quality of madrasa education services has not shown significant
and comprehensive results. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, is research that
describes or describes the data obtained by researchers related to the discussion of the quality of
madrasa education services at MTsN 1 Ponorogo. Data collection techniques using interviews,
observation, and documentation. While the data analysis technique with 3 stages, namely, data
condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Then check the validity of the data with
source triangulation and method triangulation. Based on the process of collecting and analyzing data,
the authors produce: 1. Planning for the quality of madrasa education services is carried out by
determining the direction of prime quality, strategies for achieving prime quality, and determining
strategies for achieving prime quality. 2. The implementation of the quality of madrasa education
services focuses on meeting learning needs, one-stop integrated services (PTSP), digital-based services,
and facilities and infrastructure services. 3. Improving the quality of madrasa education services focuses
on improving the service system, improving education service programs, improving the quality of
education/non-educational staff, and improving the digital service system. 4. Evaluation of the quality
of madrasa education services is carried out by providing direct supervision by the head of the madrasa
by going into the field, personal evaluation, evaluation in official meetings once a month, evaluation of
madrasa programs, and evaluation of service quality by giving rewards to educators , employees and
personnel / administrative staff.
