Abstract
The discussion about law-moral relation in Islam differs from that in [western] philosophy of law. Unlike scholars in western philosophy of law. Muslim scholars agree on the close relation between the two. This article is intended to show the thought of some fuqaha and also Muslim Philosophers about such a law-moral relation. It particulrly explains certain parts of islamic law which basically accoomodates moral teachings. It goes on to argue that islamic law cannot be separated from the character of its source and method. In Islam, there is no differentiation between moral and law. Shariah represents code of law and the moral code at the once, and hence law and moralities cannot be separated.
