Abstract:
Early childhood is a golden age starting from the womb until the age of 6 years. At this age children are very sensitive to something that happens in their environment, especially the family environment. In addition, the development of
children's intelligence has increased very significantly compared to other ages because the child's brain is able to absorb information easily, the slightest information will be recorded in the child's brain. So at this golden age, parents need more attention, especially about parenting. Just a little bit of parenting that is given will have an impact in the long term. Parenting needs to be honing, nurturing, and caring where children can develop aspects of child development optimally in parenting, get good nutrition, and love parents in educating. The loss of one
parenting pattern has an impact on children with childhood wounds which are often called the Inner Child and are long term. In this day and age, there are so many different parenting styles given by every parent, it's just a matter of what their vision and mission are and where their child will be taken. Wrong parenting can cause past wounds in children that have an impact on their development from shy,
insecure children and do not have high self-confidence. The purpose of writing this work is to invite readers, especially adults, to be at peace with the past wounds
given by their parents, both in the words of their parents and in actions that take the form of physical until the wounds leave them in adulthood. The childhood wounds that were given and we have realized now are not the reason for us to hate our parents because of the upbringing they provide. So it needs extensive knowledge and self-awareness and a careful attitude of good parenting so that children do not experience excessive Inner Child.
