Abstract

In the Singgahan village, Kebonsari sub-district, Madiun district, the entire
population is Muslim and the majority of profession is as a farmer, but the
implementation of agricultural zakat is still lacking. Even though the implementation of
zakat is as obligatory as shalah and fasting. And if its is calculated if all people who
work as farmers want to implement agricultural zakat, it can produce massive results
and be very beneficial for people in need. The research method using a type of field
research with qualitative methods. The analytical method used is based on the
descriptive-analytical method which includes data collection, data reduction, data
exposure and conclusions. From this research it can be concluded that the
implementation of agricultural zakat is still not optimal. From this research it can be
concluded that the implementation of zakat maal is still not optimal, especially
agricultural zakat. This study has main findings, including: First, the practice of zakat
han been able to run even though it is not optimal. This is evidenced by the fact that
there are still at least people who work as farmers who really understand and want to
implement agricultural zakat in accordance with the shari’a rules.
