Abstract

The learning process is very influential on the success of education in an educational institution. The current pandemic is forcing educational institutions to change their learning system and of course reorganize their learning management. This article describes learning management in the new normal era at SMA BAKTI Ponorogo. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation with data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and data withdrawal to draw conclusions from the collected data. Learning management in the new normal era at SMA BAKTI Ponorogo begins with the preparation of learning tools such as Prota, Promes, syllabus, and subject teachers prepare lesson plans in a one-sheet format that refers to the emergency curriculum which contains materials, learning objectives, methods and learning media , as well as assessment of learning outcomes. The implementation of learning carried out with face-to-face learning is full of reducing learning hours by preparing teachers to improve their competence and teaching abilities through IHT (in house training), workshops, and seminars held by schools. Before learning begins, the teacher prepares the material by adapting it to effective learning methods and media. The implementation of learning is done by involving students in learning. Then learning in the new normal era is carried out through evaluation of learning outcomes with formative and summative tests as well as through an evaluation process that is carried out once a month to once a semester and evaluation through a meeting of principals and subject teachers which is held every morning before learning begins. The results of the learning carried out show that the implementation of learning carried out in the new era still found some obstacles but did not improve the quality of learning as evidenced by the achievements of the students where in the 2 years of this pandemic not a few students passed the joint selection to enter state universities (SNMPTN) which held at the national level
