Abstract

The low quality of research carried out by both students and teachers makes the madrasa research
program an effort to develop scientific thinking skills. At least madrasas have a trigger for enthusiasm
and have a way or method to develop even better not only in the national realm but also internationally.
This service research was conducted at MTsN 1 Nganjuk by applying the Asset Based Community
Development (ABCD) method through the aspects of Problem Based Approach, Need Based
Approach, Right Based Approach, and Asset Based Approach in analyzing program needs and
formulating service objectives. The results of the service show an increase in the understanding and
competence of both educators and students regarding the research madrasah program and its
implementation design, as evidenced by the results of preparing research proposal designs in the context of
compiling scientific papers, which have an impact on increasing the quality of madrasah management,
especially in managing the development of research madrasah programs
