Abstract

A hedonistic, materialistic, and capitalistic global culture requires everyone to work hard for getting the best results. This globalization affects the religious practices of Muslims especially the problem of sincerity (ikhlas). Sincere or not a person's worship activity can be measured from, whether his worship to get worldly pleasures as want to be famous, to occupy a position, career, honor, income, or just to be a servant of Allah SWT. Moral education is very important in the global era. This study concludes the concept of sincerity in Wahidiyyah teachings based on the concept of lillah-billah, which is reinforced by the lil rasul bil rasul, lil ghouth bil gouth, yu'tikulla dhi haqqin haqqah, Taqdimul aham fal aham. The Wahidiyyah community applies sincere values in everyday behavior to their individual, family, community, and religious activities. Sincerity acts solely to cultivate the attitude of tawadlu’, compassion, cooperation, harmony, social awareness, tolerance and mutual respect. The development of moral education through ikhlas concepts is very important for the Muslim community, as part of the education of piety, birrul walidain, and awareness of the Muslim Brotherhood.
